This past year our team had the pleasure of creating the branding for Arizona's largest TEDx event. Over the course of six months we created, printed, and published the branding for TEDxGrandCanyonUniversity's 2022 theme "PWR." The theme was left vague to allow for different interpretations by the event's speakers, which impacted the branding strategy. Rather than trying to embody our own definition of power, we decided to create a sleek, professional brand. The branding embodies professionalism and creativity to foster the TED spirit of welcoming fresh ideas at a global scale. Our audience consisted of primarily college students and young professionals in the Phoenix area, which impacted our choice of high-contrasting colors to catch their attention. Our branding this year allowed our non-profit to have cohesive branding throughout platforms while reaching a larger portion of our market.
